After a challenging time, the Baltic economies have started to return to growth. Securities market activity is beginning to pick up and we can see international investor interest returning.
In order to further facilitate international portfolio investments in the region, the NASDAQ OMX exchanges in Tallinn and Vilnius have moved to the Euro as the trading, clearing and settlement currency on the equities market. We are currently working to make the same move in Riga.
The move to the Euro benefits both investors and market participants. It facilitates cross-border trading and results in lower currency conversion costs and simpler portfolio management.
I am happy to present the new Invest in Baltics web. A tool that will help you explore the Baltic markets and its many investment opportunities.
